Descent into the depths of the ocean

The Ministry of Industry invited designers and artists to develop works inspired by milestones of knowledge. On this occasion, we worked on the theme “Journeys Toward Knowledge.”

The pieces, presented under the title “10 x 10 The Knowledge Challenge,” were exhibited at the Parque de la Industria as a permanent part of the 2012 edition of Tecnópolis.

CREATIVE PROCESS
Imagen 1 Imagen 2
The deepest place on Earth discovered so far—a lost world at the bottom of the planet. A hostile environment where the existence of complex life is nearly impossible. As we descend, light fades away, and creatures transform into beings that seem almost from another world. Only a few brave explorers have managed to reach the bottom and explore it. We chose to portray them, bringing some light and color back to this remote part of our planet. The image depicts one of those scientists who risk their lives to push the boundaries of human knowledge.
