Through a playful and ironic take on everyday objects, PLA! has built a distinctive identity within Argentine and Latin American design. They invited us to develop new product lines capable of expanding this universe by combining functionality, humour and a strong visual presence.

We observed everyday situations and gestures to identify opportunities that could be transformed through design and humour. Each proposal was developed by seeking a balance between functionality, formal simplicity and surprise.
The process combined conceptual exploration, sketching, three-dimensional development and product prototyping, as well as the development of moulds for plastic injection and PVC rotational moulding. Throughout the project, we adapted our approach to the brand’s materials and manufacturing systems.
SOLUTION
Accessible and intuitive products whose identity is expressed both through their shape and the way they are used.
This collaboration resulted in two products. V-King is a small warrior ready to lend his weapons to help conquer any snack spread. Yacustó is an explorer of the depths who emerges to take on the cleaning mission.
Both products expand the PLA! universe while preserving its distinctive personality: functional and approachable objects that offer an unexpected interpretation of everyday life.
